When using Microsoft Entourage, users are unable to receive email into their Entourage 2008 inbox folder even though sending and deleting emails continue to work. However, these email messages can still be accessed through phone and webmail.
The problem involves a local setting on your Entourage, spefically being an issue with your mailbox cache.
Right click on Inbox and select “Synchronize Now”. If that fails to work, right click on Inbox and look at the folder properties. You should see an option for “Emtpy cache or cmd-i”. Clicking the Emtpy Cache button should resovle this issue.
